We began where most families get stuck.
In 2021, Arisha Nursing Home started with a handful of nurses in Mohammadpur and a simple observation: after discharge, families in Dhaka were left alone with medication charts, dressings and a patient who could not walk to the bathroom unaided.
We built the service families kept asking for — trained nurses and caregivers who come to the home, work agreed shifts, and are supervised by someone the family can call at 3 a.m. From there we added nannies, home physiotherapy, medical equipment supply and ambulance transfers, so one phone call covers the whole need.
Today the same team supports hundreds of households across Dhaka — post-surgery recovery, stroke rehabilitation, elderly companionship, newborn care — with the same standard we started with.
